Financial Assistance for School Expenses

The City Board of Education provides financial assistance to parents of elementary and junior high school students who are facing economic difficulties. The assistance covers part of the school-related expenses, such as school supplies, school lunches, medical costs, extracurricular activities, and school trips.

就学援助（しゅうがくえんじょ）

座間市（ざまし）では、お金（かね）にこまっている小学生（しょうがくせい）・中学生（ちゅうがくせい）の保護者（ほごしゃ：おとうさん・おかあさん）は、学校（がっこう）にかかるお金（かね）の一部（いちぶ）をもらえます。
もらえるお金（かね）は、学用品（がくようひん：のーとやえんぴつなど）、給食（きゅうしょく）、校外活動（こうがいかつどう）、修学旅行（しゅうがくりょこう）などに使（つか）うお金（かね）です。
